Team Hare win Stirling Invitational

The triple knockout event saw Sochi 2014 representatives, Team Awaken Consulting skipped by David Murdoch, make their 1st start on the Scottish Curling Tour this season. They found the going tough early on losing to Blair Fraser (Inverness), before safely making the quarter finals via the B road.

The quarter finals saw A road qualifiers Ewan McDonald go down 7-6 to current World Junior Champions Kyle Smith, and Fraser Hare winning 7-5 against Stuart Taylor. The other quarters saw Team Awaken Consulting gain revenge with an 8-7 win over Blair Fraser, and Bruce Mouat defeated Estonia's Martin Lill 7-2.

The semi finals saw Bruce Mouat defeat Kyle Smith 5-3 and Fraser Hare upsetting Team Awaken Consulting 6-5.

The final saw the experience of Fraser Hare and his team win 5-2 over Bruce Mouat.
