Rules



1. Team Eligibility
1.1 Any group of 4 players will be eligible to enter SCT tournaments and be awarded SCT points.
1.2 On award of SCT points, the full names of players used in the tournament (including any substitutes) must be submitted to the tournament organiser.
1.3 In order for all points on the SCT leaderboard to remain valid under one team, no more than six players may be used in any given season.



1.4 If, during one season, a team exceeds the player limit in events where points are won, then a second team under the same name will be listed on the SCT leaderboard. Teams will have the right to determine which 6 players will be named as the first team in order to optimise leaderboard points.



2. SCT Points Award

2.1 All tournaments will have an equal numbers of points on offer.
2.2 Points will be allocated on the following basis:

Winner 15pts
Runner-Up 11pts
Semi-Finalist 8pts
Quarter-Finalist 5pts

2.3 Points awarded will be collated via online leader board.
2.4 At the end of the season prizes will be awarded to top ranked teams as determined by the SCT leader board.
2.5 Where two or more teams are tied at the end of the season the below rules, in order, apply to determine ranking:
  1. Highest Number of tournament wins
  2. Highest Number of tournaments entered
  3. Highest Number of finishes in the points
If teams still tied, prizes will be shared.

3. Tournaments
3.1 SCT registered tournaments will not be age restricted and will be standard four player format (ie not Pairs or Doubles)
3.2 Tournament playoffs to determine the winners will be on a traditional knockout basis, resulting in the identification of 1 Winning team, 1 Runner-up, 2 Semi-finalists and 4 Quarterfinalists.
3.3 Game rules and tournament format (excl playoffs) will be determined by each tournament organising committee.
3.4 All other decision making in relation to tournament structure will be determined solely by each tournament organising committee.
